I'm Sandji, a French self-taught photographer and videographer based in Oakland, CA (Bay Area). I'm passionate about capturing movement, emotion and creating powerful characters.
Growing up in the suburbs of Paris, I immersed myself in Hip-Hop culture, danced for 13 years, choreographed multiple shows and traveled the word. In 2020, while working on a dance video project, I discovered my love for visual story-telling through my camera lens.
My work, influenced by movies, music, movement, and literature, revolves around unconventional dreamers who embrace their uniqueness. It is a visual interpretation of past experiences, emotions, and values.
